Yeah it's just absurd. They will say the word like it means something it doesn't. A cuckold is a guy who lets other men fuck his wife...but they use it in political disagreements, and instances where that would make no sense. I don't get it.

The Terminator one isn't really a plot hole because the entire series is nonsensical time travel. John Connor couldn't even exist if Kyle Reese didn't go back to save Sarah from death which would have prevented the birth of the person WHO SENT HIM BACK.

It was good when he didn't use it, because it represented a step towards humanity he could take but wasn't taking. In the movies it's stupid like Picard's total change in character for example.

Curie is just "I need to learn" but taking Nick on a quest to upgrade himself is more like Data.

Nicholson's Joker and Ledger's are entirely different and both great.
