I’m all for some spirited driving.. but damn. Lost license and impound for a week obviously aren’t enough. Even some of the harsher penalties don’t seem like enough. 10 years in jail sounds excessive... but six months in jail, two years of license suspension, and a $10,000 fine sound maybe about right?

It’s Canada. They asked politely and said please, so the driver really had no other option.

We all know that car can’t do 191 (308km).
The question is, how does all the error stacking in the radar gun cause it to display 191 (308km).

The car was certainly going fast and needed to be stopped.  The kids need some time away from driving.  The radar gun needs some time in calibration.

In most of Western Europe (AFAIK) you can pick any name which is defined as a name in any given language.

North America CAN have hot hatches. You have to convince the buying public that they’re worth buying though. No one has done that convincingly for many many years.

I’m currently contemplating picking up a WRX STI. If the GR yaris was coming out here I would be getting one of them instead.

A Jeep Wrangler is designed to mount obstacles, and it seems to be working as designed. There are a lot of reasons a wrangler should never be driven above 55 miles per hour, this is just one of them.

The question is “what’s the point of the partnership?” and it’s all I talk about in the article. I liked driving the Supra more than the Z4, it should just get the same updates.

Definitely coil spring. And if Tracy was anywhere near it, it rusted through.

Looks like part of a spring to me. those aren’t supposed to break.

You are assuming that it is the car that is not functioning properly. Much greater likelihood that it is the driver who is not functioning properly.

Anyone who says they need a Jeep Rubicon to go rock crawling isn’t trying hard enough.

The brakes are a good place to start!

In addition to the barriers, maybe they could also paint all the cars yellow and then pay for some kind of license or medallion to operate.  Perhaps require that the drivers have a special license?

Does this pass muster? Hope my passengers are ready to ride eternal, shiny and chrome!

Not enough bloggers took debate or philosophy classes, I fear.

It doesn’t “beg the question.” It “raises the question” or “creates the question.”

Can I ask why the need to add the reference to “people of color” and “wealthy, white communities”? I don’t see what it added when this issue is socioeconomic which has in New York a link that isn’t necessarily causal to race in every situation. Poor communities tend to be more diverse, but the problem is they are

It should be very obvious in the testing documents. No way they just have a summarized result with no details for each step of the test.

Tinkle down has always worked. We’ve getting pissed on for decades! So much winning!
