European Delivery fixes some of that and nets you a nice vacation on top of that. Build time, however, remains the build time.

I think you’re ignoring the “future classic” part that guarantees a return on investment over time unless you wrap it around a tree. Something neither the 2 series nor the R have. I’m not saying anything other than this is a great car for what it is.
As a daily driver, sure. No argument there. But it’s not cheaper nor objectively “better” as a performance car.
Ok, that’s fine. I just don’t follow how a FWD based 2 Series is a “better”car objectively. It’s certainly not a future classic like the GRC. And I’m only talking objectively, as anything else is a persons preference and taste (which is fully justified).
The most powerful 3 cylinder ever made, mated to a really advanced awd system, rally suspension, carbon roof, etc attached to a great warranty and brand name reliability for under $50K?
“Fully Loaded” Core, in white.
All cars sold in the US today are safe. Safety (crash testing) is no longer a bullet point . Hasn’t been in a minute. All CUV’s are large, have an AWD option. Pick one. Makes no difference. They all check the OPs boxes as they simply described any and every single CUV on the market today.
I thought final assembly is US for the IONIQ 5 and it might qualify but I could also be wrong. Mach-E then?
It’s not meant to be hurtful but it it’s absolutely my opinion. Size and AWD for “safety” and babies? C’mon now. What’s next? Teslas drive themselves? Or one must have gigabit internet at home to watch Netflix on an iPad?
This is the worst fucking car buyer. One that bought and believed everything car ads have been feeding people over the years. Ugh
I spend 8 hours a day on a Wilkhahn Modus chair. I've had it for 15+ years and it looks and feels brand new. It was $1500 15 years ago so probably $2k in today's money and it's the most value I've ever gotten out of a chair. No back issues, no chair quality issues. Only way to get rid of it is to get bored with it as…
As someone that’s owned the OG R32 and several GTI’s after, this is a hard no from me. What made GTI’s and R’s so good was how amazing cars they were in addition to their performance. The arguably best daily drivers out there. This is a massive step back and a sharp right in the wrong direction.
In her defense, she never claimed to have invented the look. She’s just rocking it. It’s the sheep social media followers that pretend the world didn’t exist until their favorite celeb instagrammed it.
Right?! They are absolutely nutty when it comes to weird stuff that no one else will make
If it was anyone else, I’d agree. But it’s Renault. “Weird shit that no one would have the balls to make” is basically their long running formula.
The trucking industry has no intention of spending money they don’t have to.
You’re a fucking psychopath
BMW E24 is a beautiful car for a non performance project. It’s classic, parts are fairly available, it’s not particularity complicated and it’s a great cruiser.
It looks like the new Civic had a one night stand with a Hyundai Tiburon.
It’s a guaranteed future classic just like the Yaris so I think thats hard to simplify that way. Objectively? Probably not but this type of car is so emotional that the standard gauge of value doesn’t really work.
