I agree. But outdated VW reliability issue concerns are equally inaccurate. They aren’t Toyota/Lexus reliable. But nothing is. They are fine. Particularly late in the model cycle, where they seem to be rock solid.

I’ve yet to need it on my GTI and thats 7 years old.

I’m not sure about this.

Oh my fucking god this made me tear up and get goosebumps in the middle of my lunch.

Yeah I’m glad it’s coming but that’s not pretty.

The Camry is great.

MK3 Golf. Wipers would stop working and the only way to get them back was to touch the relay in the footwell. Easy

That absolutely makes sense. And the idea that all seasons are not good at any season is no longer true. Tire compound has come a long way. But then we also get spoiled by Super Sports

Ha, it was supposed to be “other things” but that didn’t happen

Yeah, if you need the lift, you know it.

Base + Z51 seems like the perfect sweet spot.

Your stats are absolutely right.

You were never “in” so the proclamation of “out” is just silly. If you have no need for a sport compact with a stick, you either don’t drive stick or don’t need/want a sport compact. All of that is fine. Claiming that you’d get one if it was an auto is just flat out lying.

Of course, even the chalk was white!

All the ones that answer their phone.

Then why get a CUV? Is ride height really that appealing to people?

I personally don’t care what people think of my car, particularly strangers on the street. From a performance and usability point, it’s too much money. If I’m spending that, I’ll get a Cayman. Any Cayman makes a great second car. The Evora is a great 3rd car.

I really want to love it. But I just don’t. Having spent 2 days (shared with another person) in the 400, I absolutely enjoyed it.

You know what else is super easy to get ahold of?
