I think those rear gaps are within the ‘normal’ range. Almost every 2015 I’ve seen has issues with body panel fitment (including mine). Next time you see one in the wild, look at the point of the fender over the headlight. There’s an 80% chance it’s not in line with the edge of the hood. Hell, Ford didn’t even get it

They use so little power that many just use batteries, and they last for over a year under moderate use.

Examining the engine bay of a new manual-equipped 2009 Mazda3 after a test drive...

My former boss was ~6'4" and this (alternated with a red NA Miata) was his DD (in 2004-06). He had a ‘67 Camaro and an E-Type in his garage, too.

Looking under the hood after test driving a Mazda 3 manual 5-door in ‘09...

Best read in David Bowie’s voice.

Haiku:

Looks like even surface ships are cool sometimes. If subs didn’t exist, I’d want to be on a DDG.

I like this one better.

This being an Orlove article the real question is: can you make it roll over too?

Those headlights always reminded me of the Beetlejuice cartoon.

If you’re in certain counties in Virginia, you can also look forward to a 4.5% PER YEAR property tax for the privilege of parking a registered car there. That works out to $100 per month on a $35k car. SMDH...

Smells like an Apple lawsuit over ‘squircles’.

I’m (not) Lance Boyle, and I approve this post.

Ford insisted that the Mustang II wasn’t just a gussied-up pinto, then went and put the same sinfully ugly wheels on both cars.

For an American 90s car, it’s (exterior only) average by my estimate. The real problem is that the classic Mustang styling cues didn’t translate. How 90s was it for one styling line go fore to aft with no interference? Not very. Even as a kid I thought these were ugly, but at least they haven’t gotten worse. I’ve

China would kill every fish between Hanoi and Honolulu trying to sink those boats, in your scenario. I’m a big fan of the Ohio-class, though. It’s truly the Cadillac of the undersea world.

Back in the day we had a John Deere 850B bulldozer with independent hydros for each track. You could run each track in the opposite direction at full speed! 37,000 lbs and 165 HP doesn’t sound fast, but it’s a CVT, so you ALWAYS have the 550-ish ft-lb of torque so the 0-6.5 was sprightly!

They’re fast, not super-heavy, RWD 6MT V8 coupes. Why the hate?

Nah, they’re just working on the Source 2 Engine which has only been live since March.
