I agree. I enjoyed Series 1-4.5 and give RTD more credit than most, but Moffat has really stepped up the game to new levels.

Mmm, good point. This does seem like it should be a show about fighting back, but if it's more about living in the changed world I don't think I would care much for it.

Agreed. The pacing in 2001 made me want to turn it off repeatedly, but I really wanted to see the iconic scene (that I was expecting to be the entire movie).

In the world where it takes an hour and a half of nothing happening plot-wise to get to the latter, where as the former is a nice buildup and extreme plot-twist three years in the making.
