Not the ones that are going to cost China any economic hardship, however. It’s done as diplomatic nods towards NK. NK has to believe China continues to have their back, because if they become completely isolated, they’ll only be more volatile.

You’re right, it’s not broken. Perhaps we should try and keep our ISPs from taking a fucking sledgehammer to it.
Honestly, China really needs SK too. They’re a vital export destination for the country. It’s a really fascinating geopolitical situation that’d be a lot more fun to think about if it wasn’t so terrifying because NK is ruled by a dynasty of lunatics.
Aaaaah ok, I understand now. You meant literally in that China just kinda LOOMS over them.
Even if it comes to the worst case scenario, China will not back NK in a war. At the end of the day, China likes money. They want to keep NK stable because a destabilized NK will cost them money, but a war against much of the rest of the world would cost them a lot MORE money.
I wonder how far a modern rail gun could shoot through water.
Synthetic weed, particularly poorly made stuff - as anything one might be able to obtain in a prison - is incredibly fucking dangerous. You might as well chug drano.
I come bearing good news in dark times: Jason Chaffetz officially stated today that he has decided to no longer run for any offices in upcoming elections.
You’re either a shitty liar trying to avoid taking any responsibility for the dumpster fire you helped elect, or you’re a legitimate dumbfuck who is straight up saying ‘hi, I would like to literally make the worst possible decision just to let somebody I don’t know and never met know exactly how angry I am that they…
While it’s nice to think that ignoring his tweets will somehow prevent catastrophe, realize that foreign leaders can’t ignore his tweets because so far, he’s proven that he really WILL DO the crazy shit he puts in them.
Blizzard having server issues makes news precisely because of how rare it is. They will never be free of the specter of the D3 launch... may they always be reminded of it.
That still doesn’t make it not wildly impractical compared to a cruise missile you can launch from a ship from as far away as you need to, without the use of a plane at all. That plane needs a runway, after all.
It’s also wildly impractical in most situations and is dropped by simply dumping it out the back of a cargo plane with a parachute, whereas a Tomohawk is loaded with technology allowing it to be delivered from over the horizon with extreme precision, but sure, let’s talk about how great it is that a wildly inaccurate…
I’m genuinely interested in a story that is totally and completely told from the perspective of a loyal Empire soldier. That sounds legitimately fascinating.
Eh, they wanted to destroy a large scale tunnel complex in a mountainous, sparsely populated region. Honestly, it was the right munition for the job. That’s what it was built to do, obliterating hardened targets. The only reason it wasn’t used in the past is because most targets have been in populated areas.
Barron, darnit! I accidentally gave him a name that doesn’t immediately evoke thoughts of extreme wealth. Poor kid, he’s lucky his name isn’t Maxamillion.
All of the Trump kids have ill-fitted suits and tremendous overbites. I hope Brandon is more fortunate when puberty hits. I’m also assuming that poorly fitted suits just come along with puberty when one has a family like the Trumps.
Everybody should take a moment and remind themselves how wildly successful the Uber boycott was following Trump’s first travel ban. Consumer power is real, we just need to exercise it.
Rust belt states where most manufacturing jobs were lost are, by and large, governed by Republicans. Guess what party is in charge of nearly every state that has cut virtually all programs that might have helped to educate workers for more modern jobs as coal and most manual labor became obsolete? You get three…
““I would not see it as a Prey game. I would see it as a game from Arkane that is called Prey. The name is a really good name, and that’s the part that matters.”
