The human transmutation looked sweet, the spear transmutation looked awesome, Alphonse’s armor looks... about as decent as I feel I could expect it to. Edward’s hair looks like it’s 300% hair gel, though.

The politicizing of climate science in order to turn it into an ideology is the single most grievous of sins of our entire generation. No war, no genocide, no ethnic cleansing, nothing, absolutely fucking NOTHING compares to the death toll that will be inflicted upon the world as these motherfuckers stand by and deny

The only reason I cannot support the death penalty is because it’s nothing but a giant money pit, a huge legal sinkhole thanks to the current legal environment that allows for a never-ending string of appeals that assure a person on death row spends forty years in a singular, continuous court case, costing taxpayers

This is a fascinating answer, because it only allows one to draw two conclusions:

“He’s already rich,” Chaffetz said. “He’s very rich. I don’t think that he ran for this office to line his pockets even more. I just don’t see it like that.”

The Master Sword is ultra strong and almost never runs out of energy when in Hyrule Castle or Ganon’s most powerful minions, where it is truly meant to actually be used.

First one - Reinhardt was about to suicide-charge the enemy team off of the map. The *enemy* Ana put him to sleep with a crowd control ability midway through his charge, thus saving him, while her team was still doomed.

My roommate swears up down left and fucking sideways over Skyline Chili. He’ll order cans of it in bulk from across the god damn country. I absolutely cannot stand the crap, but he’s so in love with it that I fear I’ll be out a roommate if I told him as much.

Never forget that the GOP lobby in Congress made the ACA a horribly flawed monster of a bill on purpose. Through endless committee changes and forced concessions simply to make it pass, they wanted to make sure it was as weak, convoluted, and as ineffective as it could be in order to make sure they had plenty of

So... two skins.

Thank you. That’s basically exactly what I’m talking about, because it alters the goal of the gameplay in a way that isn’t fun to play or fun to watch... but players will still do it, if they have to.

Reinhardt’s Echinwalde skin is the only non-event skin I can think that was added in recent memory. What else was added? Other than brand new heroes who get a smattering of skins for themselves.

I honestly feel like I barely play compared to many others, given I’ve only prestiged once, and yet am in games filled constantly by people with 5, 6, or more prestiges. And yet I’m sitting on 2000+ coins until a holiday rolls around so... I dunno. If you’re not earning many coins then you’re still getting new stuff

What? You’re not really making sense. There’s almost no new skins outside of events and new hero releases. The price of skins has remained static since the game’s release. As you get more stuff, you get more coins, and there’s fewer things to spend them on.

New skins that are not attached to an event are actually extremely few and far between. One of the only ones they’ve added recently, besides skins for Sombra, was the skin attached to Reinhardt for Echinwalde. It really isn’t as bad as you say. There’s probably ‘just’ one skin you really want for each hero, after all,

Now playing

I know it’s an MMO, but you know what? I don’t care if you disapprove, go away!

But as you get more stuff, the rate at which you get coins goes up, so it becomes progressively easier to simply buy whatever you want. Save for legendary holiday skins, obviously.

I think I’d actually liken it to taking a knee in football to run out the clock, if that makes more sense as to where my argument is coming from. It blows absolute chunks from a spectator perspective but is a case of taking advantage of the particular rules of the game. Yeah it’s legit but... I doubt anybody involved

There is definitely something to be said for having a ruleset in your game that is actually fun to watch, because a competitive scene will have trouble thriving if it isn’t fun to watch. It’s definitely the case that draws should be minimized, but a system that allows a game to be lost in a single instant like that is

Whether it’s legit or not isn’t really the question though: is it fun and/or actually engaging gameplay to have a system that allows that to happen?
