The Tory-leaning press have been doing a number on him practically since he was elected as Labour leader, and his prevarication over Brexit and the allegations of antisemitism within the party haven’t done him any favours. Going into an election now would suit the Tories more than Labour.

Under the Fixed Terms Parliament Act, we don’t need to have another general election until 2022. I’m thinking about paying my local offie (liquor store) rent to save on the hassle from moving between there and the house.

The Leave campaign went hard for Indian/Pakistani voters, telling them that fewer EU immigrants might mean more visas from the subcontinent. Not that they said the same thing to their white voters, though. What can’t be denied, however, is that a hefty portion of Leave voters had immigration as a driving concern.

Did you vote in the referendum, or at least look at the analysis after the vote? Immigration was the strongest reason given for people who voted Leave. Granted, not all of them were thinking specifically about POC, but you can’t deny the strong undercurrent of bigotry and xenophobia that provided their motivation.
