You don’t see the advantage of having a portable computer?

I’ve been using a bulky ASUS ROG laptop for years, and while now it’s horribly outdated, it still plays most games like a champ. That being said, now that the desktop/laptop bridge has been gapped with this new GPU technology, portability has become all that

The thing is, you don’t need to go this extreme.

I’d say it goes by waves. I did spend a wallop on my rig, but now 5 years down the line, if I look at my steam library and all the deals I got plus all the indie games from humble bundles, plus not paying for any PS plus or LIVE, I think it averages out.

It all depends of what kind of PC gaming you wanna do. If you are

that is true, the price is pretty out there but a key point to be made is that this is the top of the line crazy version (the cheaper 1060 and 1070 are also supposedly on par with their non-mobile counterparts). and this is the first model available with this technology. when desktop equivalent cards become standard

Yeah, this is what I’ve heard before - these ‘desktop replacements’ are for people who constantly travel for work and so simply can’t get a desktop. Sure you have to spend thousands extra, but the cheaper desktop suddenly looks much less appealing when you can’t take it everywhere and so you spend 50-80% of your spare

It’s entirely subjective. It’s not worth the additional $3,000 to make it easy to take with me, but there are people out there who think that’s a fair price to pay to take it in their carryon luggage rather than checked.

I think thats what PC gaming in general can do for you.

I used to travel for work. I’d be away from home for about a month then home for a few weeks. It was more practical to buy a gaming laptop then try to get a desktop for each location. Not everyone travels that much, but if you regularly travel at all it becomes very appealing.

I have played PC games away from home for years. And what do I need to take? My laptop, its power brick, and a controller (I don’t like playing on KB&M).

Even the smallest mini-ITX needs a cord, a keyboard/mouse, controller, MONITOR, monitor’s power cord, etc. No matter how much you wanna spin it, desktops will never,

if you read the article you would know that it can run a single GTX 1080 at full speed without the dock (air cooled) and only requires the dock for the extra juice/cooling when running both 1080's at full speed. in other words if you aren’t trying to run crysis in 4k at max settings this will run anything a desktop

For a person who tries so pitifully hard at attempting to show some sort of awkward literary policing, you seem to fail to grasp the key word; style. A style of writing does not refer to the literal correctness of the piece. It refers to the use of words in a unique manner which gives life to the writing. A well

What politics? This is a talented voice actor reciting dumb celebrity quotes, not politics :p

You should comment less. And develop a sense of humor.

You know no one is forcing you to read it, right? Unless someone IS forcing you to read it. In which case, blink twice.

Are these supposed to make me dislike Trump more!?

He really needs to do the best one though:
