“I was nervous to see the reaction from people. She’s a female lead character. That has always been the vision by the team, but we had a discussion. Is it risky to do a female character?”

I just wanted you to post another HotS-related article so I could post this.

The fact that this happened (and was so clearly awkward for everyone) proved that the game was actually being played, and actually made me way more excited about the game overall. No bullshots!

Interesting - I was curious about this. Imagine how hard their chests were pounding as all of this was going on. Talk about working up an instant sweat.

Ouch. At least it was just the pinky finger, and while it might be a little uncomfortable, it shouldn’t take too long to heal.

NOOB

Except you’re not a professional gamer. And you’re not in the middle of a competitive league season. And your hand falling asleep isn’t an injury.

Gamers have be awful lately. Make game like A, B complains. Make game like B, A complains. Make game inbetween A and B, everyone complains. Then years down the road they complain the new games aren’t like the ones they originally complained about.

People really do take an issue with everything

You don’t seem to be understanding what I’m saying.

It seems as though people don’t understand encryption and hopefully this can be promoted so people can calm down. The attackers only have the hashes, not the blob which is your passwords. The hash is simply the check that your username crossed with your password = the hash. This is why lastpass is telling users to

On a personal note, I actually don’t love LastPass. I think its interface is ugly and don’t like using a subscription. I use 1Password instead. That being said, LastPass has been around for a really long time and it’s not exactly the best idea to go jumping from one cloud-based password manager to another, so I

So you trust DropBox or Google to store your password data, but not LastPass? There’s seems to be a bit of cognitive dissonance there. Do you believe that the servers and access controls used by those guys are more secure than those used by LastPass? If so, why?

I suppose it does to people who don’t understand what has happen. This is the key thing about Lastpass - hackers could have gotten the physical servers with everything that Lastpasss knows about you, and they still can’t access the password database.

It’s really a “just in case” thing. The inconvenience of changing my password is nothing compared to the peace of mind knowing that, worst-case scenario, they still have nothing of use.

Yeah, it’s called a piece of paper or notebook.

Please make an effort to understand what's actually going on.

Actually, Mr. Angry Internet Commenter, the opposite is true. This is exactly why we should use LastPass. They did a good job of securing things so that even a breach is extremely unlikely to leave you exposed. They also noticed the problem and notified users. Can you have the same confidence in trying to memorize 100

I’m guessing, based on both the context of your reply and the ALL CAPS nature of it, that you didn’t actually read the article.
