Well there is nothing wrong with buying gen 1 products. It’s just surprising that people are surprised about launch issues still. I would have expected people to have figured this out by now if they owned a ps2 or 360.

No it isn’t worth switching from intel for these cpu yet. I would wait until ryzen 5 comes out before judging what zen offers for gaming. I think Amd may be able to offer something that perform similarly at a lower price just like they did with intel’s extreme edition market.
