I think what DaTrueDave was trying to say was that a sound bars virtual rear speakers are truly misleading. And a really good front/center setup is preferable.

Crazy. My main set up is 5.1 with Paradigm Monitor 9's and a CC190 center and 10"sub with Mini's at the rear. Powered by a Denon 3311.

Your right the Atoms are underwhelming, but the mini's are awesome. Paired with the right sub like a Hsu and you have a great sound.

Just about any model of Denon from the 19's to 33's.
