The DH isn't position specific. I can think of several teams with pitchers that hit well enough that they are better off having the DH hit for their catcher or 2nd baseman.

I think that you may not have anything to worry about.

Not really. Just give the set some time to break in and you will probably notice a decrease in buzz. Also, keeping your contrast and brightness at 50 for an initial 200 hour break in period may help.
