I've had mine for a little over a year and I love it. But I mostly play PS One classics or games that are specifically designed to fit within the control scheme of the Vita. Cross platform games can get a little hairy. Though I will say most developers are really catching on with how to make the Vita's control

Excited about the new champ. It's nice to see an announcement that hasn't been ruined by leaks on Reddit.

Oh my god, I hate you so much right now. Somehow I've never heard that pun before...

The lag is less annoying to me than the lack of buttons. Give me two triggers and clickable thumbsticks. That rear touchpad is for the birds.

No it is clear that Sony doesn't have the triple AAA support they thought they did on their handheld. The PSP did well because it was well supported by First Party but look at the Vita even a year ago they stopped pushing E3 or any gaming convention with news on games to come. Bioshock Vita? An amazing idea but never

"On-disc or day 1 DLC is just greedy." wrote one gamer, expressing a popular opinion that DLC is part of the nickel and diming infecting modern gaming.

I wish you could buy a car with the same shoddy quality of AC: Unity.

But there is precedent for games being that expensive or even more expensive. I remember being only able to ask for a single game in a long span of time when the N64 was around because some of them were like $80. Considering inflation, the games were worth even more than that. There was an article that I can't seem

You forgot to cram the word "entitled" somewhere there.

This is the new norm.

Release unfinished games for $60 and have a readily available content of paid DLC on day one.

Fuck...!

Also this "I surround myself with people who are actually really smart. My best friend in the world right now is probably one of the smartest fucking people I know." Ya maaaan, he like totally nailed our geometry quiz last friday. Fucking loser.

Wow, you guys sure hate metacritic. To be honest, no matter what you say, I really think metacritic lets you see what the majority thinks, and it makes me happy if a game I am looking forward to is liked by everyone. Thing is, if your game doesn't do much well at metacritic, maybe your game isn't as good as you

I've graded thousands of English essays. I can tell you in the first paragraph what score they deserve. It's not really that subjective.

Hey, you're forgetting NOT YET

I think I know how to fix metacritic/other review sites. The problem with reviews is that they're inherently subjective...a critics opinion on a movie/game isn't useful to you unless that critic has similar taste to you.

Gee, I wonder why a guy who is on a strict deadline, who has to over see every single aspect of the game not just character balance, and who is also losing movement in his dominant arm, has a hard time balancing a game with nearly 50 characters and maybe doesn't place as high a priority on it. As opposed to say, a

When people talk about how annoyed they are with camera-like effects in games, all I'm able to do is shrug. I have astigmatism and terrible eyesight, so I have to wear glasses just to walk across my house safely, meaning that most of those effects are simply things I have to deal with on a daily basis. Lense flare? I

Oh, I understand the idea behind it. I just wasn't certain if it actually existed or not.

"YOU SUCK-

Well I guarantee they already have those lawyers on retainer so it's actually not costing them anything to file the suit unless they get counter sued and lose. But trying to prove that a suit is frivolous is extremely difficult in the US.
