I'm guessing the app only checks your location when you turn it on, so they know you're actually in class. So it probably doesn't track you 24/7.

Since when have sports been gender neutral, though? Are there any professional sports where men and women both compete in the same leagues? Even sports that don't depend on strength like rifle shooting have separate leagues for men and women.

One thing you'll notice is absent from Battlefield 4 now is tiered sprinting. The system where you gradually accelerated as you ran is gone, replaced with Battlefield 3's simpler "stop, go, go faster" method of movement. That's what will be in Hardline at launch, but was not in the beta.
