A pox on all you're houses? Have we regressed to the Middle Ages and I just did not know it?
A pox on all you're houses? Have we regressed to the Middle Ages and I just did not know it?
*Checks to see if a pox has befallen my home* Ha, loser can't keep his job, write a coherent sentence or properly pox houses.
"a pox on all you're houses" "im just been sopranoed"
Check out tomshardware.com. they have great write ups and every month put out a list of price to performace comparisons as well as giving you best gfx card or cpu for specific price ranges. also, you will end up paying for your PC with the money you save on games compared to consoles.
I run my pc into 47" lcd with low response time and use as my monitor. I do want to get a 1440p monitor though. I dont know too much about plasmas but i thinknyou would maybe have to worry about screen burn with a pc on a plasma. Might not be an issue at all. Hopefully someone with more knowledge on plasmas will chime…
My current pc has i7 4770k, gtx 780ti, 16gb ram, 240gb ssd and 1 tb hdd, 1000 watt psu incase i want to sli, closed loop watet cooler, dvdrom, and msi gaming mobo and nice flowing case. Already had win 7 disk. Probably cost me around 1400. Now you dont neccessarily need all this. You could get i5, gtx 770 or 970, 8gb…
You can build and forget if you dont cheap out on the build. Basically spend the most you can on cpu and gfx. On my most recent build, instead of finding best price to performance, like i did in the past, i just bit the bullet and bought an i7 4770k and gtx 780ti. It was expensive up front, but i didnt want to stress…
If you're willing to accept console graphics, you don't need to buy the listed videocards. An R9 270x is over twice as fast as an Xbox, and 50% faster than a PS4. And costs 170 (155 after rebate) bucks. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc…
Well, for me it's the ability to run it @ 60FPS. I understand that it's not that important for many people, but for me personally 30 FPS gaming is very unappealing. If Unity will be capped @ 30 FPS on PC, I will refuse to play it.
Also, yea, mods are usually awesome. But not for every game.
A lot of people tend to also forget that they also have a PC at home. So yes that PS4 is 400$ but how much was that PC in your house including the screen you needed for it? Even cheap PCs that are basically browser machines cost 150-200$. Put those together and the gaming PC is both that computer and console. For…
The benefit to playing on pc is consistently higher fps (if you got a good setup). I run a 144hrtz monitor and thus I get higher than 60 fps in most game which oddly fixed my performance issue before in Arkham city.
The Nvidia Titan is the most expensive and most ridiculous card ever created. Its a dual GPU $1k+ card and a monster. The AMD 290x is the best card AMD has to offer at the moment.
Everything feels a lot cleaner and immersive, there's a level of clarity you get that you don't on the consoles. Plus, we use our PCs for lots of other stuff in life, having one that performs good is great for day to day use as well.
On top of it all, I think this game is horribly optimized. I mean a 290x ad recommended specs? Thats like the highest you can go in AMD unless you want to get into Titan territory
No, the PS4 and XB1 would be running it at 720p or 900p at less than medium settings and no anti-aliasing. A PC at that price would do 1080p with some post-process AA and much higher texture resolution.
When you consider all the things that the pipboy does, like automatically log everything you drop or pickup, tell you the state of your vitals, tell you what everything you have does in a qualitative way, and so on, it way more advanced and compact than our modern phones. Phones like ours were probably things of the…
I just built a computer for a friend that will easily play this for $800 without a bunch of deals.
4 games in 30 hours?! Pfff pleb! :P
Jk. I cant wait to get my grubby little hands on this game. Got a week of holiday next week so prepare to no-life this game!
I built a computer just about five months ago for $600 and cannot play this game. And I got some great deals on some good parts.
Depends on the game, if its Skyrim then yes its an entirely different. But you are failing to account for all costs which many people making this argument do and that is of course the price of games and how quickly they fall on PC compared to consoles. Sure you pay less for the entry fee, but you pay more across the…
