I will take all of your shards. please please please.

Coming from someone with a Legendary helmet that he can't afford to upgrade (need...16 Ascendant shards or whatever, I think), and a Legendary sniper, who is still using the Stranger's Rifle as his main weapon, I feel your pain. I'd kill for an exotic gun. ANY exotic gun.

That was actually pretty amusing. Sadly this seems to be the way a lot of people view Destiny; if you don't have crazy unique stuff, what's the point?

Pretty damn hilarious in my opinion.

I'm getting burned out on it, too. I loved the game at first, but grinding to upgrade in the high 20s now just seems like work. As in, actual "I don't want to do this because it has become tedious and boring" work.

Thank you. We should start a "We Are Gamers but also Reasonable People" club.

Keeping my Rogue preorder (I'd preorder Unity too, if I had me a newer console). I really can't get my panties in a bunch over something so ridiculous as a tiny bit more resolution and/or frame rate. Games are looking gorgeous on the new consoles, yet people are going to continue to be nitpicky as all hell.

I think that's a good way to put it. I'm pretty positive about the whole experience, but it's frustrating as HELL to be a level 25 whose only option is to grind patrols and vanguard strikes because I can't get people on my friendslist to play the non-matchmaking portions of the game. I know there are sites that make

Give me a minimap and mark farming nodes on it. I'm really sick of flying around for hours trying to farm up 84 more Spirit Blooms. I know, I know chest runs, but those are just as tedious. Also, let me collect 5-10 per node instead of 1-2. Upgrading my gear is getting ridiculous.

I'm not sure why many people think that dick emblems are cool and or edgy....

Man, I haven't picked up Destiny yet, but this list doesn't make it sound enticing ... at all. Some of this stuff is really basic shit that every decent MMO has included for the past several years.

I like the inventory wheel idea for quickly swapping weapons and using ammo packs while in combat.

Then why did you feel the need to comment on this?

i don't think i've said "Yup" to something 30 times in a row like i just have i quite some time. Well written, Kirk!

Regardless, Bungie: As adults with roommates, spouses, children, and pizza delivery guys occasionally asking for our attention, we cordially ask you to add some way to pause your fucking game. Thanks.

Disney has never changed, its you that changed

I can just imagine someone dressing up as a Cryptarch, and handing out color-coded candy from their door like engrams. And wrapping travel size toothpaste in purple candy wrappers.

Oh man what a perfect set up for criptard Halloween road, where kids can leard how to double gamble.

well its not really a passive. For example the Hive Acolyte card bonus says "all characters earn more glimmer when thus enemy is killed with a glimmer item buff active" so you'd have to use that item that gives glimmer when you kill a hive enemy and your card will grant additional glimmer from it.

Not "uses" per se but some give in-game bonuses like more glimmer from enemies, etc etc.
