Triple check the bands of your network and the iPhone 4. You really don't want to pop the SIM card into the iPhone 4 and discover that reception is horrible because it doesn't support some of the bands that the old phone could.

Kinda.
I think he thought that the article would show us how to boot Android *on* your Android phone, not *from* your Android phone.
I don't pirate media I don't own (is that still piracy?) because I'm morally opposed to it. Like the author, I don't feel the need to pirate much because so much is so easily accessible legally. The only thing that really bugs me is that iTunes movies are DRMed. That just makes me not buy iTunes movies.
I personally love Field Notes. They fit perfectly in my back pocket, so I have them with me at all times. I could get something a little thicker, but I've found that using a 48 page notebook actually works better than a thicker notebook because I go through it quickly. I can usually fill up a Field Notes booklet in a…
Is there a way to clip the page that you're currently reading?
I would recommend trying to fix the screen yourself. If you break it you're not much worse off than before. If you fix it you can sell it.
I would like to point out that the Nitro javascript engine is limited to Safari for a reason. Nitro is less secure than the default javascript engine. Apple trusts Safari enough to enable it in Safari but not other apps. Granted, so few people use Nitrous that there probably aren't any exploits in the wild, but you…
Ok. In that case DO NOT get a standard Kindle. A tablet is definitely what you want. I have an iPad mini. It works reasonably well, but the lack of Retina Display is very noticeable when reading small text.
What's the best way to archive interesting news articles? I've already read the articles, but I want to hang on to them so that I can use them in presentations and discussions later. I've been using Evernote since I have a Premium account and can clip from my Galaxy Nexus with EverWebClipper, but there's not a good…
Has anyone tried out Synotes? It looks like SimpleNote but with formatting.
Last Night On Earth is fun. It's not as serious or as tactical as Catan, but, man, is it fun. It even comes with its own soundtrack on CD!
What sort of PDFs are you reading? If you're reading pages out of a novel, the regular Kindle works well. If you're reading scientific papers, the regular Kindle is horrid. I tried reading scientific papers on my Kindle Keyboard, but it didn't work well at all. I would have to zoom in to read the text, and the…
I can't tell from your comment whether you're writing a note for your family in the event of an untimely and accidental death or a suicide note in case you decide to "pull the trigger". If you're contemplating suicide, or even slightly considering it, please, please get help. There are people who dedicate their lives…
Don't forget about http://www.netzero.net/ It only offers you 200MB/month, but the hotpot device is only $50 when it's on sale (as it currently is). Note that the 200MB/month free plan is only good for one year after you purchase the device. It's only a good bargain if you need a tiny bit of data every month for one…
Very interesting article. The part about honest friends reminded me of Proverbs 27:6 "Faithful are the wounds of a friend; profuse are the kisses of an enemy." (Even if you're not religious, I would recommend reading Proverbs. There's a *ton* of stuff to learn there about life, hard work, and frugality.) One of the…
Wow! I was amazed that my sister made $3924/week selling penny stocks at —
I was able to register at 11:17AM CST by changing the HTTP:// at the beginning of the URL to HTTPS://
I agree that there are fewer free alternatives, but I've found that the alternatives that do exist are fantastic. In other words, there may only be one or two open source FTP clients (I'm thinking of Cyberduck, but they may be more), but they are very full-featured.
I think it could work if you made a habit of regularly looking at both inboxes. When you looked at the Schrodinger inbox you would have the mentality of "I have to get this done now". Then you would switch gears to look at the regular inbox.
