Is there a good place to get cheap Day-Timer compatible paper refills? I recently bought an off-brand Day-Timer compatible wallet (size "Jotter") and would like to use it to store notes, to-do lists, etc. Unfortunately, the only refills that I could find were really expensive. I don't need Day-Timer's special

I have a $100 voucher for Google AdWords, and I'm wondering how to spend it. I've already used AdWords to max out my Dropbox account and get two years of Penzu for free. Which online service gives me the most bang-for-the-buck? I've thought of PogoPlug, SugarSync, and CX.com and wish that I could get Evernote

The problem with downloading them all is that my family's internet connection isn't particularly quick. It would take a long time to download and re-upload all of the pictures.

I have three questions for the hive mind.

I don't have either phone, but I would highly recommend the Galaxy Nexus. You never know how much you'll miss having a replaceable battery until you find yourself lost and without a functioning phone. Also, getting direct updates from Google is going to be amazing.

I used to work in a student computer center where everyone's account was given 50MB of storage (crazy, I know). This worked fine when everyone was just writing MATLAB scripts, but when people started downloading PDFs of their textbook (legally; the publisher provided them) they went over quota almost immediately.

What do you do if you want to have a universal ID but don't want people to know who you are on facebook or twitter? It would be wonderful if I could use the same ID for lifehacker, engadget, the New York Times, etc., but I don't want random people who visit lifehacker to be able to find out my real name or stalk me on

I recommend making a Kindle lockscreen/wallpaper with your name and contact information. That way people will know how to contact you to return it. This trick also makes it difficult to sell a stolen Kindle because there isn't an officially sanctioned or intuitive way to change the lockscreen. #tips

This is just creepy. Not the article, but the fact that I was thinking of the exact same idea at Panera Bread just over 24 hours ago.

My grandpa just got an iPhone 4S and doesn't know much about how to use it. He's coming from a dumb-phone, so none of his contacts have carried over. My question for all of you is, should he use iCloud or Google? He's been using Gmail for years, and he definitely doesn't want to change email addresses. He does have a

Are there similar programs for other platforms?

I have an old Palm TX, Treo 680, and Blackberry Curve 8310 that I want to find some use for.

While the SD cards are only slightly more expensive than regular SD cards, the microSD variants are (unfortunately) almost twice the price of regular microSD cards.

I can't access musicforprogramming.net. I'm told that the account has been suspended. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have an odd problem with Android. I'm running Gingerbread Liberty v0.9 on my Droid X. My preferred browser is Miren (fast and light), but it's got one really annoying bug. Sometimes when I tap the address bar and start typing, the keyboard will suddenly slide off the screen. Miren then interprets my next fingerpress

Be careful with that one. It's only Android 2.1. If I were you I would go with a used Nook Color running CyanogenMod. I doubt the Archos is popular enough to get any developer love. The Nook Color will probably have modder/developer support for a lot longer.

They are referring to 10% of the 71.59%.

Has anyone tried out Lubuntu? It's an unofficial version of Ubuntu that uses LXDE.
