Better to have low expectations and be pleasantly surprised if you're wrong than have outsized expectations and be bitterly disappointed (see: ME3 and DIII rage)

Casey Hudson is my new favorite person. Anyone who is this proficient at pissing people off gets an A+ in my book.
It is sturdier, but is less responsive. People put far too much force on the buttons and sticks over here in a futile attempt at doing better.
In Japan, that is exactly how the sticks and buttons are. Bat + Concave is a Western thing.
What Cow said. The presenter for the 3DS said that tomorrow's showcase is all 3DS games.
Seconded. Also, their NHL section is second to none.
I'd say that stopping the end user from having complete and total control is a good thing. Being someone who (currently) makes a living supporting end users, I can say for certain that the vast majority of them are stupid.
I believe that, as in Diablo II, the scaling only applies when spawning. If players add or remove after a monster has spawned, that monster won't re-scale.
I see no problem with this. FB didn't do anything other than go public. If someone makes a bad buy based solely on media hype, I have no sympathy.
What I don't get is why there's the expectation that you should be able to play "single player" offline. In D3's case, SP and MP are the same game. You just happen to be able to play as a party of one. Where are all of the people whining about how they can't play their MMOs offline by themselves? After all, a big…
Europe's the only version I own for good reason.
Like I said in a previous thread, replacing what was destroyed is what renters insurance is for. People need to stop being so freaking sue-happy.
That's what renters insurance is for. The military shouldn't have to compensate for everything that was lost.
Because the average person would most likely see 6000 feet and think of how long it takes them to travel it.
Going at 100+mph when flying off the end of a runway means it was only airborne for at most a minute. Barely still counts.
I personally find this genius. For all of the complaining that people do about the whole "Online Pass" and related DLC things, most people Just Don't Care (tm).
Stock is not a liquid asset. You can't buy things with it. Think of an early selloff as a (giant) pay bonus for making it big.
Hats off to you on the Romneycare thing. I'm actually a fan of Obamacare, but those ripping Romney on Romneycare have no idea what they're talking about.
Intents don't survive, though. Only what is actually written does. It's been almost 80 years since the New Deal and courts across the ideological spectrum have held up the federal government's right to do this. Yes, I know a blank check to do anything you want isn't ideal for anyone, but that's what we have.
