Undermining goes back literally thousands of years. Other than waiting out a besieged enemy, it’s the oldest form of siege warfare.

I’m in! Think of the applications. Man what I wouldn’t give to install these on America’s northern border. Fucking Canadian immigrant scum!

You should care. If you aren’t smart enough to realize that Gawker continually cross posts one blog to another then nobody here can help you.

Hahhaha. Wow guy.

Not positive on this but i highly doubt the Saudis have the Igla-S. It’s only been in service with the Russian military for about ten years. I think there has been a few exports but it’s been to Venezuela, Armenia, Slovakia, Syria, Azerbaijan, and the like. Supposedly they sold some to Libya, and it is though most of

They’re single shot systems. Shoot and toss the tube. I’m not sure if they could be reloaded at the factory, but they certainly can’t be in the field.

That’s completely how I feel. What Obama hopes for and is pursuing isn’t really an option.

Maybe not necessarily Assad personally. But yes. I don’t think removing a Russian puppet is an option. If he could dramatically curb the fighting and bring about peace, I don’t think NATO would be too upset about letting Russia keep it’s client state. Hell I wouldn’t.

I agree about the MANPAD threat.

Historically it really hasn’t. But this one sure has the potential to. If it was the US handing them out that would be one thing. Only a small percentage of our proxies would probably receive them. Even that would certainly have plenty of risks but if the Saudis are handing them out it’s a different ballgame.

Don’t agree with this. Firstly, this isn’t Afghanistan. Russia’s aircraft are far more capable of protecting themselves and deploying munitions from positions that are either outside the MANPAD envelope completely or on the fringes of it. They’ll score victories but it won’t be enough to change the balance of power

I adore that F-117 with the American flag paint scheme.

A few years ago, the boys from Top Gear were in Nevada testing an Aston, Viper, and LFA (IIRC). There’s a little clip where they all stop and watch and watch a B-2 operating out of Nellis. What is in that episode isn’t all that great, but I did see some outtakes/cut footage from that episode where they were talking

“A smart move, as unless the USAF starts getting the public and much of Washington behind the program it will likely not survive the weapon system butcher shop that is Capitol Hill.”

Few years ago? Which airshow?

For what they bring to the fight, they’re priceless.

Or the people that still swear up and down that because of the Horten, the Nazi’s were pursuing stealth. Even if it has been disproven a hundred times and any reduced RCS it would have had was simply an added bonus.

How neat would it be if that they got that thing flying!

Last time I was there (it’s been a few years) they were working on an He 219 Uhu (Eagle-Owl). How’s that thing coming along.

Hahahahah. Those freedoms are extended to Americans, by Americans, for Americans. If they chose to extend it to some of another nationality that’s a privilege. You are in no way entitled to it.
