You know who I want to see show up? Hondo the pirate. I really enjoyed him in the Clone Wars episodes.

Even if it was minimal, the manpower needs will still be insane. Super star destroyers had something like 700,000 crew. The costs of these things was insane also (lol assuming it was real). A nebulon frigate (you see them most in Episodes IV,V,and VI) costed the equivalent of two average planets entire annual income.

No, we’re talking about using click-bait worthy words to illustrate an issue that is a minute fraction of what Gawker, and most of it’s left-leaning readers say it is.

There’s no absence of MANPADs. The A-10 was designed to shrug of cannon rounds. Not missiles. It was committed to the fight in the very first month of the campaign, and after a close shave they pulled it out. I’ve said it a thousand times around here. During the GWOT A-10s were more a nuisance than help half the time.

There was the time a Russian ship rammed a USN vessel though. That being said, strong post.

I suggest providing that info. Only the most ignorant idiots still maintain that ISIL was the direct result of American support. We’ve absolutely contributed to their recruiting effort, but they’re home grown in every way.

I do NOT want to see the A-10 flying CAS over Syria or Iraq at this point. There is absolutely zero reason to risk operating that aircraft in these AOs.

When the GWOT on terror began 60 minutes was one of, if not the best source when it came to interviews, footage, and a solid line of questions. It’s steadily declined to the point where I specifically avoid watching any of their coverage on this topic.

I read it as though he’s stating that they’re doing far more than they ever have previously.

Nothing “handsy” about it. That’s SOP.

I’ll almost guarantee you he gets a distinguished service cross.

No, it’s not “WORTH IT”. A thousand of those cunts isn’t worth one American life. Not fucking one.

They’re still human beings. Trust me, these guys come home and struggle to sleep, and have other difficulties, just like like the line infantry guys and the rest of combat arms. They do receive the absolute best of the best training, and support afterwards, but I’ve seen just as many members of the JSOC community

There are multiple SMUs successes all over the world, every single month. Obama really upset me announcing the UBL raid like he did, but NSW isn’t exactly helping it’s case at times.

As far as AORs go, you’re generally correct. As far as other theatres go it all comes down to whos available, better suited, minimal spin-up, etc.

I’m not a supporter of Obama either.

I keep getting the simulator story from a family member that flies the Super Hornet. I said meh, we’re family, you can do better and we had a long chat about some of the folks he’s seen the Navy give rides.

War is Boring is possibly the only website that’s worse than FA when it comes to understanding procurement in the DoD.

Thanks, I appreciate that you appreciate it.
