Warning: I’m gonna unabashedly gush about Brendan Fraser.”

I know there are significant visual upgrades, but I can’t take the time to stop and appreciate them while I’m in the middle of a game. For me, the biggest impact I’ve felt since moving to the new gen is definitely loading times. It’s a total game changer. Of course, if I hadn’t upgraded I’d be none the wiser, since

I’m in that boat. I haven’t really seen anything yet that makes me want to get a PS5. I’ve also been lazy to get my PS4 Pro fixed.

I still have a hard time even remembering that we’re actually at the PS5.

Id pay a monthly sub to this website if it meant never seeing another article about streamers and TikTok drama.

Seems like I’m not going to be playing Suicide Squad.

The issue is you are paying $70+ for a new game and they’re locking some of the content behind another pay wall. personally I don’t care so long as it’s only cosmetic but I can see why a lot of people get frustrated with it as it feels like they’re being nickel and dimed after already paying a hefty premium for the

It’s big business. Where I work, new CEO took over and we laid off a bunch of people at the end of 2020 because things were so dire. Over the last 2 years we’ve gradually gotten back to the same number of people and somehow we are making tons of money again.

In my opinion, this was the year that solidified the fact that the Playstation experience has narrowed from their wild and creative first and second party output across most of their history to a very narrow focus on photorealistic / “cinematic” open-world AAA games. Each of their modern series (the few that are left)

OLD song?! But Born This Way is from my senior year of high school! Does that mean... I’m old?

If the FTC doesn’t go after Roblox next... Roblox not only has tons of games trying to trick players into making purchases, but their target demographic is mainly children.

Dear Congress People,

When you have 30 entities, it’s not a big deal to go to 29 because one bought up another. When that’s gone on for years, and you’re down to lets say 5 entities, it’s an inherently bigger deal for one to buy up another and take that number down to 4; the same value exists across those 5 as existed across the 30, but

The regulative watch dogs are absolutely and obviously correct here in every possible sense.

This Activision deal is not the same thing as Sony to buy up smaller studios one at a time. Sony buying a single studio does not significantly change the competitive landscape. This deal is on a completely different level, as the price plainly indicates. Those smaller deals can fly under the radar. The FTC is

100% agreeing with you there. A full feature-length movie with Martinet’s voice as Mario would probably have me ready to punch some kids.

... and we don’t want that.

Seriously we need to stop this idea that Charles Martinet would be a good mario for 90 minutes. He does a fantastic job with the short quips and reaction lines but god if you hear him trying to do long form mario it is just grating and awful.

So she turned down $15k for 20 hours of work? I’d love to make $750 an hour. Asking for $100k+ seems kind of absurd? Like, that’s how much a programmer would make working on the game for at least 40 hours a week for a year. She’s not a big Hollywood actor being cast for a movie. Her impact on the game’s commercial

WITH A KNIFE

Got to give Capcom credit, their multiplayer Resi games are always on brand.
