I really liked the first movie too, I thought it nailed the vibe. The second one… yeah, fuck that movie.

What I got from the film segment is that “Return” is going to be a pretty direct film adaptation of SH2, hence the remaking of that game to coincide. This is an unpopular opinion in the fandom but I actually like the first SH film, as different as it was from the first game. I know a lot of fans couldn’t get past the…
This is going to remind me all over again why us SH fans (I say us because I’m one) are the wooooorst, isn’t it. I think Bloober are a perfectly okay choice, especially for remaking one of the old games.
Can somebody provide a concise explanation for why folks are so worked up about Bloober Team leading the Silent Hill 2 remake? I haven’t played any of their games but looking at reviews and things they seem a perfectly adequate developer for something like this; not amazing but also not terrible. What am I missing…
That’s the impression I got too. Maybe Chris Pratt is taking hints from the Super Mario cartoon. I reserve final judgement till I see the movie
if you listen closely when they’re jumping on mushrooms he has more of a Brooklyn accent going on which hopefully is the main form of the voice and the first bit when he just arrives is just a weak spot. otherwise it looked fantastic.
16 dollars an hour does not even compare to the amount of work put in. But its low skill labour.. uhh its still very unpleasant..
spoken like a person who’s never had to work a food service job.
I feel like Destiny 2 runs solely on Stockholm Syndrome these days.
The unsactioned gathering is what draws these folks in. This guy was just the worst offender becuase he killed two people. Please tell me what “other points of view” I should examine about having modded cars drag race in the middle of a small town with a lot of pedestrian traffic.
This is such a weird thing coming from the age when the only time you heard from developers was in interviews in video game magazines.
Now we can threaten their families and yell at them for their choices 24/7 on social media.
Good times?
People are way too emotionally invested in these games.
I’m glad I’m not American, then. Anyway, I’m going to back prepping my pork belly and pak choy.
This news is going to please the worst people.
Black Flag.
The hypocrisy is pretty amusing. Sony spent millions over the last generation in order to deprive Xbox owners of content. Before that, MS spent millions to deprive Playstation owners of content. Ultimately, both companies are guilty of using anti-competitive (in the logical, if not legal, sense of the word) practices…
As much as I hate the push for exclusives as a consumer, the Playstation boss can get stuffed. They spent the entire PS4 cycle locking their ecosystem down as hard as possible so nobody could even play with people that owned the same game on other platforms, and they still maintain a strategy of pushing for PS…
I get that things are tough now, but....this is such a bad look.
People using that Medium clip as evidence that they shouldn’t work on Silent Hill are missing the fucking point. A. Silent Hill was extremely goofy and B. if it’s a remake, they likely won’t be introducing new puzzles like this
