I remember getting this game for christmas with a gameboy and thinking “Man what a weird mario game”. With the ah ah ah ah sounds the bosses made, to vehicle levels. But as far as music it definitely was all catchy. I can remember the world 1, island world and the temple music in my head. I remember the world 4 music

yeah they were. I’m sure if they are still composing the next game will replace that with wobbly basses and BRAAAAAAAMS (not that either are a bad thing in moderation)

The one thing that always stuck out to me in this was the number of “orchestra hit” sounds use in it. But I remember the music being really well done.

This MIGHT be an unpopular opinion. I think the game is really cool in terms of depth with the combat. But I’m pretty much sick of the battle royale style game. Storm check, loot to upgrade check, limited healing check, one death and you’re out check etc etc. It just feels too much like fortnite to me to despite the

if it makes you feel better someone yesterday on reddit called the Xbox Ninja Gaiden games old school. And I was like old school? Whenever someone says old school Ninja Gaiden I think of NES.....and realized that I am indeed old. :(

TAKE IT TO 11!

I think a mode like this is perfect for after you’ve completed the game and want to explore more. It lets you do so and take it all in without worry of cheap deaths. The game itself is great, but it does have it’s fair share of cheap deaths and difficulty spikes so I can understand this thing. ( some of those optional

I think they look cool, but at the same time, I’m just not excited about this expansion anymore? Which is weird as a long time player. I haven’t touched the game for like two months except maybe only a little here and there. But every time I login now I just kind groan, ugh bounties, and then log out. Also sunsetting

I kind of look at it like I look at my music collection. I still have all my cds and some vinyl. But where are they? Packed away in a closet because I stuck them all onto my computer in digital format ( and my iphone). I really like the concept of physical media. Browsing record stores and cd stores for things I don’t

Honestly I’m glad Sony had that glitch that cancelled my pre-order. This gives me a chance to really see how this play out with the upcoming expansion. Sure I’m excited for more story, BUT I want to make sure it’s not a shadowkeep with new subclasses.

I’ll agree with you here actually. I’ve played Unity more then the others for sure. I’m not sure why but it really seems to just be Arno’s story. They focused on that a lot which I very much enjoyed. It would be nice to see him future games, but I doubt that will ever happen.

Honestly I’m still surprised we don’t know a price for either PS/Xbox yet. It feels just like a lot of foot dragging and the longer they drag it out, the less I am interested. (I mean I will eventually buy one, but it’s just getting annoying with their lack of information. ) For me it’s having the opposite of

This is easily my favorite shmup on the SNES. Everything about it was awesome, levels music, gameplay etc. I remember how blown away I was at some of the boss fight music and how well it thematically fit. I think my favorite track was the cave level. Also the lead up to the level 2 boss through the busted up section

Totally understand that. In this case with their last DLC they did a nice job of expanding more on the overall wider story, and added a pretty large new area. Also answered / raised some questions about the game. I’m definitely looking forward to more of this.

Control AWE is about the only thing that really made me excited out of this. I think something is wrong with me. ( but man did I absolutely love control)

My wife and I are entering a new section of our life and are finally lucky enough to be having a kid. It’s been a long road to get here. I’m having weird worries about being an old Dad. (but this seems to be how it goes with a lot of folks having kids later in life now) not to mention my continued worries about the

You summed it up so well. I’m not even really hyped for the new consoles cause I feel like I know so little about them.

I do yes. I miss having a dedicated week of just an insane amount of game announcements. Also seeing all the booth tours that Kotaku would do ( especially Tim’s). I miss the dedicated press conference times with unexpected things popping up in there. The home runs, the misfires etc. My friends and I would also setup a

This kind of sounds like a more hacker oriented “Division”? Am I mistaken? Or maybe it’s just that all the ubi games are becoming pretty similar.

I expect this to be just one person being chased be someone yelling ANOTHER SETTLEMENT NEEDS YOUR HELP at them for 60 minutes.
