That actually is a really sensible way to explain it.

I still don't get the whole eSports thing. At least with DOTA and League of Legends. However I can get down with the fighting games tourneys and watching that stuff. But the commentators are what really turn me off of all this. It's cool people are into this, but I think I'll stick to baseball

I'm sitting here punching a painting and cracking up

I agree with you there. I think it would be nice though if they kept everyone's rep each time IB came back.

This is true. Though with the emblem, and items it still took me the full week to get to rank 3.

I don't get it either. The more my buddies and I talk about this, the more we feel like this is an "on the fly" experiment for Bungie on how to make an online game.

This makes perfect sense! They could have done the same with the exotics instead of having to turn them in to Xur

Iron Banner.....I love the idea of it, but hate that it resets my rank and is only around for a week.

The worst part for me with the new expansion is certainly the commendations needed to get helmets, chest pieces and new weapons. Now I have to be really careful about which one I choose. Also that they increased the number of marks from 65 to 75 for the leg and arm armors. BOO. RNG also sucks in this it never really

I'd love a sequel to this. HUGE DMC fan myself and thought this was a very good reboot

And now I can purchase a PS4 since it has Devil May Cry. Now to convince the wife......

poor warlocks :(

This is true, but they would still be limited on strange coins since each weapon runs about 17 -23 coins

I keep wondering why they haven't done this.

I can't fault you there. I mean who doesn't like captain falcon or Samus

What's funny is it's cheaper to buy a new exotic, then upgrade the old one (armor only) if you already have the needed shards in your inventory. It saves you 1 strange coin. Personally this whole exotic upgrade while nice, is kinda annoying. commendations are the thing I really dislike though.

confession I LOVE hidden object games. Had a ton of fun with the trail of Dr Chaos on PS3.

I know that, but I'm still basing this off their past track record. What does it do in those 3 games? Unlock items /costumes in two, and in the third it levels up as an AI if I recall. The 3rd use is good. But paying 14 bucks for the other two? I'm still taking a wait and see approach as early adoption has burned a

I don't get it either. Nintendo and their track record with peripherals though would make me cautious. They always bring them out, do something cool for one or two games then forget about it.

That was great LOL
