Lot's of amiibo posts lately. Interesting to see how they are catching on, though I personally won't be buying any. Especially since you can only use them for one game right now. Hopefully Nintendo will come up with better ways to use them in the future ( and hopefully it won't end up like most peripherals they make…

yes. I've only done it three times so far ( killed atheon 2/3, got raid boots, chest and hezen vengeance from it). But each time it's been a blast.

Yeah I played FFXI for a long time so I'm not unfamiliar with the grind, but this seems a bit more convoluted with all the new points systems etc coming into play.

yeah same. I was thinking I'd have to get commendations for everything, thankfully at least two of the 4 pieces don't need it. YAY

really? That sucks. From the app it looks like I can get the boots / gauntlets without needing the commedation.

I think I'm maybe rank 2 in the crucible? I don't do the pvp all that much. Vanguard ranks up pretty regularly for me from bounties, but the commendations seem annoying. What gear do we need them for? I couldn't figure that out.

That sucks. They make some questionable decisions with the game for sure, though I'm still having fun with it. Also the new expansion looks cool, but seems a little more grindy with the new commendations, and raid items needed for things.
