Really it’s the removal or the trimming down of the RPG mechanics and what you would expect/want to find in other games of its ilk. Even comparing it to the previous New Vegas and 3.

While the perspective change would be welcoming to long time Fallout fans, it wouldn’t save the game from its core gameplay shortcomings and mediocrity.

If they say Microtransactions, I’m just completely out.

Consider how many years it’s taken Square Enix to plan and prepare to fuck this up.

I won’t lie in that its obviously designed for a controller, and would probably suck on KB+M..... Good thing I prefer controller though, because I like the UI as well.

I’m conflicted, because my Nvidia GeForce 640 has gotten me through at least 4 years of pretty graphics-heavy gaming with excellent performance*. However, it comes with a lot of proprietary software, requiring installation of 5 programs, some of which I never use, such as Shadowplay and streaming to Shield.

Gamebryo has actually been used since Morrowind. The tech is asbolutely ancient. But that’s also what makes the modding scene so vibrant. If you’ve at one point made mods for a Bethesda game, you can bet your ass you’ll be able to do it without too much hassle for one of their other games.
