I have nothing to add except we started on Pandemic Legacy this weekend and it blew my goddamn mind. We only finished February and it’s ranking as one of my best gaming experiences ever.

Finn goes from being an Imperial Stormtrooper, to a rebel, to a jedi all in the course of the same flick! It took Luke Skywalker three movies to do that back in the day.

I am trying to watch the Twitter hashtag stream for news but no so thank you for putting this up.

The utterly best thing about this list is the comments thread, in which a host of pen-and-paper grognards demonstrate that one of the greatest things about tabletop roleplay is that there is absolutely no such thing as a useless spell or item when a half-dozen-or-so smart and creative people sit down at the gaming

The fans didn’t kill Fantastic Four, it being by all accounts terrible did. These movies aren’t made solely for fans anymore, that’s why they’ve been able to have such mainstream success. Everyone is seeing them.

Sorry, force of habit. USO = Universal Studios Orlando. TDO = Team Disney Orlando. TDA = Team Disney Anaheim. WDW = Walt Disney World. DLP = Disneyland Paris. TDL = Tokyo Disneyland. OLC = The Oriental Land Company. OLC owns Tokyo Disneyland and they’re amazing at running TDL and Disney Seas. They run better Disney

I bet Roddenberry was disappointed he never got Pocket Books to publish The Ferengi Joy of Sex.

I remember reading somewhere that Roddenberry absolutely hated “Family.” He felt that in the 24th Century, therapy would be so advanced that a few minutes in a machine would be enough to cure any trauma, no matter how severe or personal. He didn’t realize that it wasn’t so much Picard that needed catharsis as the audie

I actually consider Roddenberry sticking up for Wesley to be one of the few good things he did towards the end. I mean... Don’t get me wrong, Wesley sucks, but some of those attacks on Wes turned into personal attacks on Wil Wheaton, and that was taking it too far.

Aren’t you a little short for a stormtrooper?

That’s something I’ve never understood. With as much moolah is in NASCAR, I’m surprised they haven’t moved to better quality in-car audio. I guess it gets the job done, but boo.

Their behavior can be explained as a part of Signaling Theory, which can be summed up as they aren’t doing it to influence the out group but to demonstrate to their in group (the other cultists) that they are willing to undergo a punishing ordeal for their group and are therefore true believers.

You make all good points, but none of them matter. These people don’t have the forethought or ability to see the world outside themselves, therefore they will never have any clue what impact their protesting has.

Here’s the problem with the premise of a “D&D” movie. D&D is a rules system. Not a setting.

Pretty much agree with everything you said here, but I wanted to highlight this part in particular (with some added emphasis):

I have gotten back into Diablo 3. My 70 +16 paragon Wizard died sadly after all this time. Then my level 30 crusader died. Up to level 26 in a new Crusader, want to see all her dialogue and story in the game. I of course had to buy Johanna in HoTS.

It’s also of note that you shouldn’t always focus the healer first. If you’re going up against a Valla or a Jaina, or another squishy damage dealer, it’s better (imo) to focus them first and then look to kill your opponent’s support. They go down almost instantly if you can get some CC down and your team will be in a

They’ll have to nuke it from orbit, the only way to be sure.

The engines that the Falcon flies into at the end of the teaser belong to a crashed, upside-down Super Star Destroyer. The layout is unmistakable, and it's definitely not the very-right-side up Star Destroyer we saw in the gorgeous pan at the beginning. This also would help explain why the Falcon would even go in
