The problem with, with Iron Man, you really only have a few Iron Man types to draw on: Among them 'Fetch me my brandy and a bunch of beautiful women RIGHT NOW!'-esque Millar Iron Man from the Ultimates (which... actually would be wildly entertaining), the fairly cardboard Tony Stark from the comics (with arguably

I think you might be missing the point though. Death (And Return of) Superman sent a sort of weird wave through the industry—you can pull a big stunt to reign in readers for the spectacle (Superman's death was the big moment) and sell big, then bring him back. The comics post 'death' sold well for the most part.

I wouldn't bet against that particular outcome either way.

Or mmmmmaybe she's pulling a TRIPLE fake out. She knows that everyone will assume that she knows that everyone will assume she's talking in opposite speak, so she's REALLY talking about the opposite.

Yeah, I know. Frankly, between that, MWO Mercs (F2P or not), and the rumblings that the guy who runs Virtual World might be contemplating making something new, things are kinda looking up.

Yeah, but pretty much everyone in the Star Wars universe is incredibly incompetent, so really that's pretty baseline.

Except for the part where they had the permission of the original creators to show the art, and it was only because of the murky distribution rights that granted Harmony gold the right to sue for it.

If they aren't, that just makes the fact that he's citing it as a reason to stop as even sadder. He's allowing himself to be effected by something even less relevant. That does him no credit.

That's how criticism works. Especially if what you make isn't particularly good. You don't get a free pass with a creative product just because previous stuff you made was good. And furthermore we're only talking about a subset of fans. There are people who liked the new films. If you choose to focus on the ones

Yes, he is in fact, engaing in the kind of wisdom reserved for first year college students. Because he can't stomach people giving feedback in his work (and apparently doesn't want to accommodate them.)

From the words of my college writing professor.

Earthquake was replaced by Backdraft, and later Twister. King Kong is gone.

Yeah, Florida doesn't have the tour proper, it just has the individual rides.

The irony of people freaking out over the similarities between Battle Royale and this is that Battle Royale itself cribs heavily from Stephen King, most notably bits like 'The Running Man' (there was another story of his that was specifically closer to it though, though the name escapes me).

"A great script is what it's gonna take to get a fourth Jurassic Park. We have a very high bar for ourselves because we're just like the audience, we don't wanna make the movie if there's not a reason to make the movie."

Uhm, no, that's pretty much how PC gamers see him too.

The feeling's mutual.

Yeah, I mean, that scene where she actually tells her that she broke the $300 DVD and he completely fails to react (outside of making the standard 'You don't know I'm secretly Abed' joke) and is basically completely okay with it. Totally hard to watch, I see where you're coming fro—wait, YOU'RE INSANE.

I love how this always comes up despite that a couple shows have been cancelled now on Io9's watch that have passed entirely without comment.

Wow. WRONG comment.
