If we dump all the greenies in a raft and put them out to sea, I think we'll have less commuters running around in VW Microbuses polluting the environment and getting stuck in traffic.

@superveloce: The current Ypsilon is based on the previous generation Punto. Trust me, you don't want one now. Wait until 2011 when the new one comes out. Hopefully it'll have five doors now... unless they call it Autobianchi, in which case it can keep the three doors.

@GeeHalen: So do I, but according to a Fiat head of communication, Lancia is not a sporty brand. Can you believe it?

@Gawd: Better a horny fish than a cold fish.

@Sensei Hikaru: Now, Korea... was in the exact same spot 15 years ago that China is now.

SUV? FFS, that's a humongous truck! In Europe, you wouldn't even be able to drive one without a heavy-duty vehicles driver license. Why would someone want one for personal transportation?

@superveloce: 125hp in Group 2 preparation. The standard model had 95 hp, but if that car is an older model it still features the 1.4 with 80hp.

@Jim-Bob: You couldn't import Ladas to France at the time either.

@Fat Tire: As much a soul as Killdozer, I believe

@mgrinshpon: How? Well, it's obvious, isn't it? Poor design and over-engineering.

All the steps of an automotive press conference:

You just know Colin Chapman would approve. If he had the Honda back then, you would have dumped the 116E block and gone with the F20 instead. It would be Lotus-Honda Cortina. #fordcortina

@Marquis de Saab: I'm European and I say "America fuck yeah, European automakers fuck you". But we still have better health care, so we can get healed after crashing the CTS-V we imported from the US. #gmvsjalopnik

How do we forward this to the Ig-Nobel Prize commitee? This definitely deserves the Ig-Noble Prize for Economics. #fastcars

What about this? Saleen Mustang SR, failed miserably in the FIA GT, but won the Spanish GT Championship.

ZOMG! Dino engine!

@racin_g73: They did. It's Hurley Haywood now. Unfortunately, Hurley Haywood now is not the same as Hurley Haywood in 1973, but it'll still be one and a half seconds faster than JC. My buddy Joao Barbosa will be pleased.

@econobiker: Which one would you like, Sebastien Bourdais or Nicolas Prost?

I approve only if DeLorean goes back in time to save Pontiac.
