Ok, I understand what you're saying now. Maybe that just the standard mount for that model. Then they had to find a suitable place to put it on the tower somewhere. Now it makes sense why it doesn't look so good. It would have been a lot more expensive to have a custom base designed and fabricated.

It looks like the bolts are equidistant from the center of the pole. If they were on the perimeter of the square then I could see your argument. There may be a perfectly good explanation for it being like this, It just doesn't look good :p

Just curious, how much film video production is used versus digital?

I would be worried if the vehicles that have auto park could be hacked because then that would have steering control as well. Newer fords have this, plus they are drive by wire now so the drivers input could be completely disabled.(possibly)
