MGDMT is “sorta” done.   The creator has suffered some hard burnout from the comic.    She’s stated that while she won’t conclusively say it’s over, she doesn’t currently have any plans to go back to it

I’ve never really understood people who “Why” everything into the ground. An experiment doesn’t necessarily have to have any real purpose... sometimes the only reason for doing something is because you want to see if you can do it.
