I want to say Challenger Explosion but I’m not sure if that’s a retroactive memory. I do have very clear memories of the ‘88 election.

Lol. U mad, bro.

Does this count as cosplay? Is he LARPing?

That’s not how it works. You get a honeymoon period from first trophy till the parade and then you’re just the Boston Red Sox.

Witcher 3 has a tight narrative. Or at least as tight as traditional JRPGs, which is to say it sprawls and digresses but the motivations are clear and the characters are strong and memorable. And it’s by far some of the best story telling ever done in a video game.

Curious, what city’s fanbase is the least insufferable? Minneapolis? Milwaukee? Does anybody hate Brewers/Bucks fans?

I think VR will lead to a spike in demand for PC gaming cafes. The ratio of “dopeness of experience” to “cost and space required for equipment” make me think the market for rentable experiences will go up. There will be a minor “arcade” boomlet in the next few years. Then it will fade once VR is fully mobilized and AR

Obliviousness is close enough to disorderliness. Would you prefer if he was disorderly in a more organized and intentional manner?

Fellow cyclist and lifelong cop-hater. Agreed. Totally appropriate.

Lighten up, Francis.

“Ahoy motherfuckers!” okeedoke.

So “First” is devoid of content. Breaking a story and getting a scoop is not the same thing. Waiting for corporate PR schedules to control what the public knows is the opposite of journalism. No twists. Narrative fiction is like cheesy bread. If it don’t twist, it’s a waste.

“Maybe video game adaptations were just never meant to be.”

Anyone who runs for President will have an effect on that election and will get a portion of the blame for the outcome. You play the game, you accept the consequences. You can try to shift the blame or play word games with it, but society doesn’t give a shit. “Should” does not come into play. Nader is a persona

Counterpoint: We’re not actually upset, merely irritated and bored. He does not actually pose a challenge to anything. This is the end-of-the-already-decided-primary doldrums. Otherwise rational and compassionate people are reduced to toddlers fighting in the backseat at the end of a long car ride. It’ll all be over

Obama Boys I don’t remember. PUMAs, I remember. All this shit is going down the memory hole by August, you know.

And if he worked exactly the same, but Ralph Nader hadn’t run, he would be president.
