She was thinking she’s an adult and should be able to do what she likes in her personal time.
She was also thinking she had bills to pay.

Yeah man, got to make sure technicians aren’t *checks notes* making a side income in a completely unrelated field.

Literally me reading this article

Anytime an adult uses the word “haters” to defend themselves, I automatically assume they are in the wrong. It’s a bullshit word used by bullshitters.

From baby buttholes to tofurkey sausages, this whole article made me vaguely nauseated.

Thank you. I came here to say this. People keep asking for stories about real people that are inclusive. THIS IS A FUCKING REAL STORY THAT IS INCLUSIVE. SO REAL IN FACT THAT IT FUCKING HAPPENED. Unless white women now have to either date within their race or no one is allowed to tell true stories about interracial

Personally I’m tired of people attacking interracial relationships. I hated when Jill Scott did it several years ago and I hate it now. Because underneath the rant about interracial relationships is the hatred of biracial people. We get it, you don’t think we should exist.

There are legitimate medical uses and it should be decriminalized for recreation, but god damn the militant stoners are annoying. Saying anything other than “Yes weed is a perfect consequence free panacea with no possible downsides” sets them off like nothing else.

Not physically but potentially mentally.

I actually think this is silly and super performative on the mom’s part. Acknowledging your baby’s apparent biological sex doesn’t mean gender norms or even a gender has to be forced on them. If everything looks standard down below, as the vast majority of genitals do, you can tell what sex the kid is with great

I agree, plus sex isn’t the same as gender. There’s nothing wrong with recognizing a child’s sex at birth while making zero assumptions about their future gender (or sexuality) provided you give them options to identify correctly down the line.

Eh, the whole thing seems a bit performative, but I don’t think the medical part is that big of a deal. The parents can just tell their pediatrician what sort of bits the kid has.

Agreed. I honestly would love to hear why NBC is so convinced a figure you can only see in profile and from the back is female. The men are all wearing their shirts loosely tucked in the same way “she” is, which would create the illusion of a feminine waist from the back. “She” does look paler than the others, but

I don’t buy it. “Earhart” could easily be a teenage boy. (And even if it’s a woman, it does not automatically follow that it’s Earhart.) “Noonan” could be any dude with a receding hairline. Also, didn’t they find a bunch of their stuff on some random island a few years back?

“She’s being more careful this year. She’s learning.”

Sir? Now that’s setting up the kid to be a pretentious asshole.

But at the end of the day, what you’re doing is shaming someone for learning something good. You don’t have to hold her up as a paradigm of enlightenment or anything, but she got there in the end. And she even admitted that she was naive.

yeah it’s extremely fucking, whats the word, petty?

It’s almost like, if unregulated, people running businesses do horrible things to save a buck.

Maybe she should start with all of Donald’s wives.
