I have to disagree. The states do not give rights that are guaranteed to all US citizens. There’s such a thing as federal law, and the Constitution is the law of the land. Those laws do not vary across states. The police’s job is to enforce the law, nothing more. They don’t make the law and they don’t “afford” rights…

I liked AC3, warts and all. Probably helped that it had the most developed present day story arc, which was and still is my favorite part of the series. Connor was a good main character; it’s just too bad so much of his character development was in easily missable side missions instead of the main campaign.
