“The Man Who Wasn’t There” was filmed in color, then converted to B/W in post, and it’s a beautiful film. That said, I hated it. Not a big fan of the pretentious Coen brothers, and my favorites of theirs tend to be their less regarded films, Fargo aside.

Alternately, Frank Darabont’s “The Mist” is a better and scarier film in Black and White.
