Man, that’s disappointing. I didn’t read the first Black, but when I saw this I liked the art style I saw, and the implied “Black As Fuck” title is pretty great. Hopefully as the series goes on it gets better.

The epic of Sundiata is another thrown around, and yeah, I can kinda see it, plus it’s actually African, but the idea Disney just made a Kimba ripoff after watching a few episodes is at least as believable as Hamlet or the other theories.
