What I have noticed with the generations following mine is that time seems to start at birth, what happened before is old news and of no consequence.

I grew up in the forties/fifties and remember friends and family who got polio; some died, some ended in iron lungs and some came back with withered limbs. The vaccine changed everything in a few years. This is what the anti-vexers do not know and what they are doing/not doing can bring polio back.

My thoughts exactly; I think we are at the same place today with back surgery as we were with knee surgery in the 60's. I have never heard anyone who’s had back surgery rave positively about the outcome.
