The weird is probably between the judge’s ears. I once had a family court judge (a woman) admonish a child to have some pity for her parents for all the distress she was causing by disclosing horrible, substantiated sexual abuse at their hands.

As a child protection social worker for 28 years, I saw some horrifying family court judges and judgements in the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s.
