OMGSPOILERALERT.
I am excited for this season of TVD. I really hope it gets kept a little more even than last season. I've been doing a rewatch and seasons 1 and 2 are so tight and beautifully done. The storytelling is organic - things that seem like they should become a problem that will have to be handled do, in fact, become…
I think this is all about how to GET the job, not necessarily how to get the information you need to have to find out if you WANT the job. In my career, I NEED to know how often I'm allowed to work from home. If the answer is never, I will not want to work there, period. If they don't like the question, we're…
I hope we don't go back to the days of classic James Bond action. I have loved the new Bond infinitely more than I ever cared for the cheese-tastic movies of the past.
I agree with you on all points.
I think that will be true eventually. Right now, having health care at all will be a luxury for so many that they won't be able to view it in the "I have the right ot be choosy" light, I think.
Probably the Parliament of Physics voted to change the law. Like, it's a democracy up in here, okay? Do you want fascist physics to dictate the laws of the universe to us? NO SIR, YOU DO NOT.
I think Moffat is a better writer with a guiding hand to keep him from being too clever. I liked him much better when he worked under RTD.
These are basically just vinyl decals. Etsy has a bunch of decals, as well, and some of them are truly lovely. I'm deeply tempted by quite a few of them.
No, dude. I'm thinking nano-frogs who just go in and do work. They have little jumpsuits and utility belts and...
I read this as 'utility frogs' initially and am now somewhat disappointed.
This is a wonderful article, and I think it provides a lot of great insight into what science fiction's role really is.
My mom has a feral cat that lives in her yard that's a tiny, fluffy little murderer. She prefers to kill baby birds and baby squirrels and leave them for my mom. I've never seen such a murderous kitty, but she clearly loves the hunt.
Seriously. And I also like Renner! (But I admit I thought he'd be the one to bite it in the movie.)
I would suggest modifying the title to this: The billionaire genius who Favreau's Tony Stark is based on wants humans on Mars within 15 years.
Absolutely agreed. That's a really interesting relationship.
Awesome, I will check that out. Thanks!
That's exactly what I thought, too.
I know nothing about Judge Dredd except that awful Stallone movie, so when I saw the trailer for Dredd, the bar was low. The trailer was great! I am excited to see it now.
Huh, true. I never thought of it like that.
