You know, our '06 Mercedes E500 Wagon has the tail gunner seats, and my 5 year-old demands to sit back there instead of in her booster seat in the "normal" back seat. I remember sitting tail gunner in my Mom's enormous '80s Chevy Wagon.

I don't see why this should come as a surprise. Happens to all new models of cars and it's usually the early adopters that have to deal with this shit. But as long as they fix everything on time and handle themselves professionally i don't see the problem here.
