You are a hero
You are a hero
Now you understand. That's why this is so crazy and why I think it deserves all the attention it's getting. The first time I looked at it it was very clearly white and gold, and now it's blue and black no matter what I do. My fiance looked at the same image, on the same laptop I'm looking at right now, and she sees…
No, Steve Jobs did absolutely nothing to contribute to society as a whole. He was a genius designer, but he never had a goal of helping people as individuals much less society as a whole. His company to this day sells inferior products to morons with more money than brains, that was his intention and he did very well…
This is still blue and black, and you're a filthy liar.
So you wouldn't want to work for this website because they are allowed to have fun while presumably getting paid for it?
Exactly what happened to me. I saw this on Reddit awhile ago and thought it was fucking stupid that somebody was asking what color a white and gold dress was. Then I start seeing this picture blow up everywhere on the internet and I see a blue and black dress. My fiance, sitting right next to me looking at the same…
B, every time. This probably still violates me being called a pacifist, but I wouldn't just stand around when someone is punching me and tell them I'll be their slave for life if they stop, I'll hit back.
That was indeed what I was intending to say, though I chose poor words to say it. I appreciate you explaining what my statements should have said.
Sorry, that last post was (a terrible) attempt at sarcasm.
That was mean. My statement was obviously wrong, and reflecting on it even though it was half in jest it was not something I should have said. I apologize if I offended you.
I can't argue with that logic.
I'm pretending I didn't read that because it's a pretty scary thought and I like to hide from things I fear.
Fair point. Thank you for taking the time to write out all your responses, I feel like I've learned quite a bit from reading them and I appreciate the well reasoned points.
Obviously you're right, but if we need them to be weapons they are still weapons.
I just don't believe that they not only have a bunch of ICBMs, but that they have enough with enough technology that our early warning and defense systems won't stop them from getting anywhere near the US. Maybe they can hit our allies, but I would imagine that a nuclear strike against one of our allies ends with Iran…
I'll respond to your last point first: why? What good can come from allowing a country that at best allows some radical terrorists to exist within it's borders without interruption to have nuclear weapons?
That was my thought, our military as it stands now grew up during the cold war where we were facing a much larger and much more technically advanced enemy than Iran.
They could potentially (maybe) sink one of our aircraft carriers if they were super motivated and we were caught sleeping. It isn't that the danger is unreal, it's that doing so would be the dumbest thing that they could do. Attacking a carrier group is about as bold of a declaration of war as I can imagine, and even…
I don't think those words mean what you think they mean.
