The law says that I can do whatever I want because I wrote it in a handbook and handbooks are the same thing as laws. I also developed a recommended guideline that said the cyclists should ride at an average altitude of 25 ft AGL, which keeps them out of traffic. Since you've learned me that recommended guidelines are…
Did you know that when you see articles that don't interest you that you can actually just not click on them?
That sounds almost as mature as posting constant articles calling every man a rapist. Sounds like the comments pretty much match the subject matter, so I'm comfortable blaming them.
But what if I was doing it because I determined that is what was safe? After all I get to determine what is safe and nobody else (well, besides handbooks, because those are the be-all end-all rulemakers of society). I saw a crack in the road and was afraid that hitting it too fast would launch me into the sun so I…
This isn't a newspaper. Part of being a writer on a property like this means that you get to moderate/be involved in the discussion. I'd say to get a job in a real newspaper and then they don't have to do that, but no respectable news organization would hire 99% of the writers around here.
Huh?
By that measure anyone that does any sort of moderation on the internet is being sexually harassed. If you have a job that involves being on the internet all day you're going to see things you don't want to see, if you don't like it work elsewhere.
Somebody had to do something they didn't want to do while at work making money? Surely that's the first time that's ever happened. The rest of us all love every single second of our job.
I'm confused, are you agreeing with me or disagreeing with me? This is a private car sale. There are, as it were, no warranties expressed or implied.
1) When is it that I rage at cyclists? You make a lot of assumptions about my driving, at this point I have to assume that you're stalking me. Expect the protection order to arrive in the mail soon.
Law by handbook, the best kind of law. Is the Boy Scouts Handbook also law too? Do I have to follow it or be arrested by a judge (or however you imagine the legal system working)? What if two handbooks tell you to do two different things? Can I go around and arrest people because they must not have been following one…
I live upstate, something that has to do with NYC has absolutely nothing to do with my local laws.
You're not actually a lawyer, especially in New York, are you?
If only every cyclist thought like you did everyone would be happy. Sharing the road, what a novel concept. I understand that you can't ride into a manhole cover, and you understand that I have somewhere to be and didn't plan on taking my trip at bicycle speed. I take a few seconds to be patient while you try to get…
LOL
I think the only response I can have to this is: LOL
I would say that some do, but not many.
So your research, based on what exactly, has concluded that I am an unsafe driver in any way? Asking for cyclists to follow the laws set for them for safe operation on public roads makes me an unsafe driver? Knowing the relevant laws in my state makes me an unsafe driver? What an interesting opinion to have.
This is what police should spend a majority of their time doing
