Hahahaha!
I'll admit, those designs are pretty aces but the original is still totally the biz! Now who wants to go down to the local Babbages in our Jnco jeans and buy some Pogs?
Are we having fun yet?
Huh, I was thinking this would be way cooler: the elevator sets you up with 3 teammates L4D style then takes you to a random "floor" where you'd complete the mission (kill enemies, retrieve item, solve puzzle, make though "story" decisions as a team) and continue "horde" style until you reached the main floor and…
I imagined it must be because of rights issues (understandable, largely unavoidable) but it's not?
So, according to you it's considered "uncool" to be worried when your roommate antagonizes you with hidden knives and midnight air-horns? If you're doing all this to find out if you've got a crazy roommate I think you might be the crazy one.
Wait, he's got GTA V on his IMDb page. Is that confirmation?
I'm not sure Lifehacker mentions this but the idea as I understand it is to fill it with old IDs and credit cards. Make it look real.
Here's my issue with this and feel free to debate. If the mugger searches your pockets and finds two wallets (remember, they're crazy enough to be mugging you) wouldn't that further incite their violent tendencies or are we assuming they'll just grab the money and run?
I think most of the better late night hosts do that, turn some of their dumber jokes back on themselves and their writers. It's why you couldn't get just anybody to read a Conan or Letterman monologue, many of their jokes just aren't funny without that "we realize that was a stupid joke" delivery.
Huh, to be fair to the 27 year old (who was admittedly mostly stupid) he probably wasn't thinking so much about protecting his 60 dollar game as he was standing up to the gunman and fighting for his life. Again, he was still stupid for not taking the better-safe-than-shot option.
Dude, I was expecting some reds, even a green or teal-ish hue would've been nice. I doubt I'll be playing this one.
The one question on my mind: how many Bells does this thing cost?
I'm not saying some of these aren't legitimate gets (some people don't have media centers or cable boxes and Hulu and Netflix alone work extremely well) but I'm willing to accept that much of it falls under that "now you can Twitter from your Xbox 360" banner. Which is to say that it's not a particularly useful…
I'm wondering if (and I know this is a stretch!) the redesign shown in Famitsu was simply scrapped after public outcry. Or maybe it *is* simply a Monster Hunter peripheral.
I can't see it not going straight to XBLA but I think I see what your saying and agree: it would be neat if one of the biggest of the names in gaming supported a service that some gamers might be entirely unaware of.
You know, I remembered hearing that too and a quick Google search reminded me that it's the slogan for Field Notes brand notebooks.
This could easily be practical for situations where buying a desk/surface/shelf isn't exactly in the cards— traveling comes to mind but someone above me mentioned "pop-up co-working" where you suddenly need workspace you just don't have.
The thing people seem to forget when comparing it to the iOS and Android equipped devices is that the 3DS is a dedicated gaming platform and its software should eventually match that. Because, while my iPhone's certainly got some great games it's done little to match Nintendo's catalog or prove itself as a substantial…
