I dunno, I kinda think it was over-rated. The internet hyped it up so much for years until I finally watched and...it was fine? Didn’t seem any different than the main animated series to me.

Wait, there are people that actually like Rick? I think he’s one of the most insufferable characters of any show I’ve ever watched.
His book was one of the first nonfiction books I ever remember reading and quite possibly the first book I ever bought with my own money. I was in high school in the early 00s and in a computer engineering track so he was basically a God to me for a short time.
Usually quite the opposite unfortunately. Because there is such status symbol with being published, it is more of a you help me I’ll help you. Elite publications like The Lancet have other problems, such as peers assume if you’ve made it that far then it must be good and they’ll just skim and sign off without really…
It’s been on my towatch list since it came out, but mah backlog. I do have a few friends that love the merch of the show but haven’t seen it
The last decent Kotaku contributor is leaving, I might have to finally stop my RSS feed of this site. It’s been rough for years but I’ve been hoping for the best. This is not the best news
I played it the first time a few years ago even though I hate Star Wars, just because I love BioWare. I found it decent. It wasn’t as in depth as I was excepting and there was a lot of running around empty areas (aka lack of combat) and the story was a bit slow paced, but even as a Star Wars hater it was worth a play.
Exactly. Can’t give the government an inch or they’ll take a mile and all your freedoms. They’ve pulled this exact move so many times in the past and recent-past
How does combat compare to Pillars of Eternity? I wanted to like that game but dropped it after just a couple of hours because I hated the combat so much. Ally AI was abysmal and positioning was near impossible. Fights that should have been super easy were taking me out which was very frustrating.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is one of my favorite movies of all time, but even trying my best to not be a harsh critique, this movie looks like a very generic Hollywood film. Reminds me of a Christmas movie my wife and I watched on Netflix last year, minus the Christmas aspect
First of all, wasn’t this “Trump appointed judge” voted in 98-0? Secondly, this is actually really. Democrats seem to be unable to conceive the day when the GOP would call anything a Dem says to be censored. Free speech can’t be a gray zone, it has to be all or nothing, like it or not.
It still blows my mind they did a Saga series remaster (I literally don’t know anyone that played those back in the day) before we got FFT, Xenogears, and Vagrant Story at least ported to Steam and/or switch
I don’t remember the exact model of Continental I’ve been getting, but my last three sets of [non-AT] tires have been Continental and I’ve been super pleased. Can’t remember the last time I’ve hydroplaned or even had a small peel out at a stop light. $800 for AA treadwear is a win in my book any day.
It still makes zero sense to me that there can be a law preventing someone from leaving the state to presumably do something illegal in your own state but not the destination state. Literally legalization of holding people hostage
Beastars Season 3: Loved the first, less loved the second. Hope they finish with a bang
Even though I grew up on shounen, they aren’t a favorite genre of mine as an adult. That being said, I do actually enjoy Fairy Tail for the most part. I think they writers do a good job with a linear power up over time, there is a huge cast of characters, most of which enjoyable (Natsu and Lucy are actually my LEAST…
D3 Monk is still one of my favorite ARPG playstyles of all time. I wish more games in general could figure mixed classes like that even half as well
I thought science was getting away from the idea that plaques cause Alzheimers and that it is more likely inflammation from other sources?
Same. The first is different because I was so young and it kind of blew my mind, but I couldn’t tell you the difference between 2 thru 4 and I haven’t seen any after 4 (I think?)
I’ve never heard of this genre of writing, but even as a reader of mostly non-fiction the summary of this book as my attention (though I could do without the Luke Larsen bit). I feel like there could be a cool visual novel game to be had here. But I might pick it up
