Dune 2000 was my first RTS game. It kicked the crap out of me

Some thoughts on the trailer:
•Glad they are going back to a more medieval high fantasy timeline instead of having cars and super futuristic settings
•The facial graphics are meh
•All other graphics, clothing textures, armor, eidilons, etc, all look amazing
•Story seems like it might be a bit generic
•The combat looks

Seems cool. I feel like even I would get tired of looking at that artwork though. And how is combat? With only three classes and two attack types, it seems like things might be limited

Vita for sure, though I’ve probably logged more hours on Gameboy Color than anything else (I would list it second). I don’t have huge hands, but big enough that the DS line always hurt my hands after an hour of gaming, plus I think 3D is a gimmick that I hate. I do have a black 3DS and it isn’t bad, just not amazing

FF14 has continually had one of the best stories of any recent game, even side quests like Scholasticate and job quests like Dark Knight and Alchemist are great. Highly recommend to anyone, even if you don’t like MMOs (I mostly play it solo). Seems the new bad guy is going to head back to chaotic evil/Kefka type of

Not a fan of the new thin dash/huge screen design

Last week I started replaying Chrono Cross so I’ll be continuing that. My only other playthrough of the game was unguided in the very early 2000s. As such I remember almost nothing about the game, missed most characters and summons, and figured now was as good a time as any to replay. Been loving it so far, about 15

Did Bungie ever add more stuff to do [on a regular basis] to the game? Way back when it got added to the Blizzard launcher some friends and I all picked it up half off and really loved the game...for about two weeks. In that time we got each of the three classes to what was pretty much the max ilvl (333 I think?). The

I live in South Carolina. Pretty sure the law is around 30% tent but no one really cares and we don’t have annual inspections. Anytime I’ve gotten pulled over here or the one time in GA I just instantly rolled down all four of my windows before the cops even got out of their car

It wasn’t as dark as you’d think. I don’t even think it looked like 0 but the tint shop used a laser on it and said it was, to me it was no darker than the two cars I’ve had with 15. The only inconvenience is when you’re backing up at night you have to roll down the windows.

Windows tint? Literally the first thing I do when I buy a new car. usually go with 15% but did have a Grand Cherokee with 0% once. Car stays so much cooler in the summer and people can’t see when you’re staring at them :-P

I always love Life in Aggro. Anyone know of any other JRPG that gives you an option to suffer with a terrible character/class that ends up being extremely strong later on? I feel like FFT had some but I’m blanking now

Ah yes, the critical mass. I recently hit that with YouTube subscriptions and it feels bad because I still love all the channels I follow, but when a channel like Cracking the Cryptic releases an hours of video per day it gets tough.

Didn’t this happen to Mass Effect 3 and Xenosaga 3? Both games which paled in comparison to the previous entries in the series?

Each time a new fast charging comes about it seems they just up the voltage. Anyone know if cramming more and more voltage down the same lines and battery hurt the longevity of the batteries? I feel like it would be similar to how overclocking a CPU degrades it a bit (due to extra heat and whatever else)

Been a long time since I played Kingdom Hearts. I remember barely beating the ice giant. Pretty sure I only landed an attack on Sephiroth a couple times. After a few attempts I quit because I was tired of getting 1-2 shot repeatedly.

I feel like I’ve been reading about hydrogen fuel cells since high school, or thereabouts, in Popular Science. That was early 2000s. I want it to be a thing, but much like battery and solar tech that has a new “breakthrough” every other year, it seems not much is changing

There are so many good stories within 14 it’s getting hard for me to compare them. I think for me 4.0 (base SB) might be the best, but several of the between patches were a bore. However, same can be said about ShB; I skipped 5.2 until about a month ago and for two nights I felt like all I did was read boring text

5.3 has been amazing so far. I was not expecting to take three days to do everything. At the time of this writing I have unlocked everything but haven’t actually done the new fights (Nier and Unreal Shiva).

Looks like they were going for a non-isometric ARPG but the combat looks really slow, and not in a good Dark Souls kind of way.
