It’s almost like wages haven’t kept up with inflation since the 1970s. Heck, cost of living has gone up 20% since the last time min wage was increased. The price of cars should *feel* the same as always, but thanks to our oligarch government, we’ll be buying used for awhile.

Pretty car, nice specs, but what’s with the interior’s cloth accent lines? Looks kind of gross

I keep meaning to rewatch Cowboy Bebop. I don’t really remember anything that happens other than the ending, but I do remember immediately thinking the show is really overrated. I was only 17 or 18, I think, so that could be the problem. I don’t remember the music but considering I didn’t like Jazz until about two

Funny I just downloaded the Cool Boarders 2 rom a few days ago. That was one of my favorite games back in the day (still have the hard copy but who wants to dig a ps1 out of the closet). My other favorite snowboarding game is SSX Tricky which I’ve played through several times. I still remember the disappointment I had

As someone with a farm and a wife that is an equestrian, I have a feeling many country folks won’t be jumping to electric trucks until there is a new battery technology, like improved solid state batteries or something. My Sierra 1500 drops from 17 to 10 mpg pulling a small two horse trailer with a single horse inside

Not even in the late 90s when they were dropping multiple amazing games per year that still hold up today? They didn’t get slow until the ps2 era (I think there were five years between 10 and 12?) but really it was ps3 gen that got them. I don’t even know why they got slower. In the 90s they could come up with fast

I need to rewatch Akira so bad. It was one of the first five or maybe ten anime I ever watched back in high school. I don’t remember anything about the movie other than the monster thing at the end and the motorcycle chase in the beginning, just that and at the end of it I thought it was severely overrated. Now I’m 32

I have Nocturn. Decent game but is definitely hard. One of the few (only?) JRPGs I couldn’t beat. My best friend got to the final dungeon and gave up too. It’s not even hard in a good way. Early game you don’t get enough xp so you’re getting dunked on and can’t even create new demons because they’ll require you to be

Classic Nintendo playbook. Don’t create something new and interesting, rely on an old IP to get the nostalgia people, and give it crap graphics. I haven’t booted up Nocturn in prob a decade but I swear it had better graphics than what this trailer is showing.

Honestly, I have played almost none of the games listed in this article. With that in mind, for me it would be Crash Bandicoot 2, Jak and Daxter (first one), and Croc are the ones that have most of my hours.

Can someone give me a TLDR or ELI5 how this differs from the “manual mode” my in wife’s automatic Hyundai Accent? And maybe how those compare to something like a 4 wheeler which has a gear select on the foot but no clutch (I’ve heard that called semi automatic?)

I somehow missed the previous two articles about this game. I don’t really care for 16bit graphics, and I like turned based over non, however, that trailer looks pretty interesting. Questions I have about any RPG: How customizable is it (can I theorycraft a badass skill tree/gear set up or it is more straight forward)

My first thought watching this trailer was Banished as well, though that game is so freaking complicated I never got too deep in to it. I couldn’t figure out how to do things or why some things were happening, which is a shame because that game is right up my alley.

Someone call the Ukrainian hackers, quick

Absolutely not. My first thought skimming the article was “I would if all that crap can be disabled”

As a fan of the Final Fantasy series and JRPGs in general I think I’ll have to disagree with his take. It always felt so bad buying a $60 shooter, doing couch co-op with my best friend, only to be done with it in a single 13 hour session. Those are some of my fondest high school/college era memories, but when you’re

In the early 2000s my first vehicle was a ‘97 Jeep ZJ. I loved that thing so much. Still one of my favorite vehicles I’ve ever owned (on my seventh vehicle now...I think). I had it from 70k miles to 160k before I was an idiot and totaled it. Never had a single problem with the engine. Non-engine related, the seats are

I never got in to the AC franchise. The original was one of the first games I ever pirated and without a gamepad, playing xbox controls on keyboard was tough so I only made it maybe an hour in. Years later I watched my best friend play all of Brotherhood and it was alright. My wife was a big fan before I met her, but

The two I always think of are Morrowind (you can fight and kill Vivec) and Xenogears

Not going to lie, if I got shot at while on my porch I would have a REAL hard time not firing back. I’ve always had a little bit of an issue with authority but this whole George Floyd thing has been making me how much I could get away with (protest wise) as a young white guy. I come from a non-racist redneck family,
