I believe these are meant to be used as initial screening tests (as they’re cheaper) which are then meant to be followed up by more accurate (and expensive) tests for any positives.  In this case, it seemed they refused to carry out the 2nd test and just took action based on the low accuracy one - which is just stupid.

The Football (Disorder) Act 2000 was brought in to strengthen existing laws specifically put in place to combat football hooliganism - which isn’t a problem associated with women’s football. It’s not there to “protect” the football leagues, it’s there to stop violence between groups of fans.  The law doesn’t cover

Even during non-stressful situations, half of what you think you see is actually your brain filling in details your eyes can’t perceive. It’s pretty good at it, so most of the time you don’t notice, but any time you “see” anything it has already been through your brain’s editing suite.

These drivers *are* incompetent. Hundreds of other drivers pass through these bollards every day without incident. In the gif at the top of the page, a similar size car passes through the bollards seconds before the red car hits them.
